Giving workers a voice.
In many countries, workers don’t have access to any kind of support or representation. That means they can't raise issues with their managers – which means their managers don’t have a clear sense of their needs and frustrations. Eventually, many workers simply give up and choose to move on.
We know from firsthand experience how opening up the lines of communication between workers and managers helps to resolve issues and create a healthier working environment for everyone. So we’ve been working with 110 factories employing 110,000 workers in India, Bangladesh and China to help them understand the benefits of giving workers a voice and helping them put it into practise.
