Celebrating inclusion and diversity.

Inclusion and diversity have always been key to who we are, but we recognize that now, more than ever, we need to do more.

In 2021 we set ourselves six clear inclusion ambitions:

  • Create our first ED&I Plan and roadmap for the business 
  • Drive a culture of inclusivity through learning & sharing
  • Give our colleagues a voice
  • Represent the customers we serve
  • Give people access to the world of work and opportunities to progress & thrive
  • Equip our people with the tools to prioritise their own wellbeing

Our achievements so far:

  • Rebranded and added significantly more support assets to our colleague forum and online hub 
  • Signed up to a Business in the Community's Race at Work Charter
  • Signed up to the Halo Code
  • Signed up to Diversity in Retail / WiHTL and preparing to launch our first minority group development programmes with them this year 
  • We continue to support The Prince's Trust through mentoring and charitable donations 
  • Our wellbeing, PRIDE, cultural awareness, accessibility & men's & women's health ally groups have now been established
  • We have demographic data captured for over 75% of our team 
  • Established our wellbeing and ED&I calendars

EDI is about celebrating everyone

ED&I is about celebrating everyone, and the difference that they bring to the world! Here at New Look, it’s imperative that everyone feels welcome, can be themselves and feel comfortable sharing their views and experiences. It’s how we truly get the best from people, and how we make sure they enjoy being part of the team. We should all be seizing the opportunity to learn from each other and celebrate what makes us unique. It’s our responsibility to create, and champion an inclusive environment.
