Product manufacturing

Our aim is to work with key factories to identify and prioritise opportunities for improving the environmental and social impact of manufacturing our products.

We assess the environmental performance of our facilities and find opportunities for improving factors like GHG emissions, energy and water efficiency using the Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM).  We are also members of Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC), working with industry best practice to manage and reduce the use of harmful chemicals in manufacturing.

From a social perspective, we continue to strengthen our factory-level visibility from onboarding and throughout our partnerships with suppliers. We use social audit data (e.g. from Sedex and BSCI) plus visit data conducted by New Look and our third-party partners. This data allows us to develop a more detailed understanding of our supply chain, worker profiles and variations across different countries, to highlight risks and opportunities.
