Raw materials

Transitioning to lower impact materials is fundamental to New Look’s sustainability strategy. Our raw material sourcing focuses on transitioning to responsibly sourced, recycled and traceable materials where we can. 

We're making good progress on our most-used materials, including cotton, polyester and synthetics, and viscose and other man-made cellulosis fibres. 

We're also introducing increasingly ambitious targets for our other materials, such as metals for our jewellery. 

Through engaging with partners, such as Better Cotton, Canopy, WRAP and others, New Look continues to identify lower impact materials and practices to reduce our impact.
