There’s more to life than work, which is why our wellbeing programme supports our people across all aspects of life. Focused on physical, financial and mental health, our programme encourages us all to talk openly about our wellbeing, whether it’s a good or a bad day. Being Kind means a lot to us, so we strive to raise awareness, and partner with organisations such as the Retail Trust and Holate to offer specialist advice and support when needed.

Inclusivity matters.

Like many, we’ve taken a long, hard look at our approach to inclusivity.  As one of the first broad-appeal fashion brands, inclusivity has always been important, but we know that when it comes to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) , we can all do more. Our established ED&I roadmap focuses on how we recruit to ensure we are always inclusive.  Together, we learn, we support and we care.

Diversity, in all forms, is important in any industry, especially when it comes to our ways of working.  We believe a diverse team from all walks of life is the key to rich, innovative thinking.

Pride 2021
In 2021, we donated 100% of our Pride collection profits to the LGBT+ Foundation, to fund their volunteering programme, an invaluable service that helps to ensure a safe and equal future for all LQBTQI+ people.

Of course, not forgetting our own New Look team members, who got in front of the camera, shooting our 2021 Pride collection in the heart of Soho. What can we say? They smashed it.

Be Inspired
Retail Week’s Be Inspired programme launched in 2016 with the aim of promoting diversity across retail and encouraging everyone to fulfil their career aspirations.  A key part of the initiative is a 12-month programme for talented senior leaders and we renew our partnership with the programme year on year to promote opportunities for colleagues across our business.
